Book a visa-on-arrival eligible hotel through Discover Qatar, book a hotel for your A1 application, or ask your host to register your stay.

Create a Hayya account
Register on the Hayya portal and start the entry visa application.

Upload documents
Upload your passport, photo and accommodation details. Names must match your passport exactly.

Pay after approval
For A1, you are asked to pay the visa fee once the application is approved.

Carry your entry visa, return ticket, hotel booking and insurance details when you arrive at Hamad International Airport.

- For visa on arrival, book the hotel through Discover Qatar specifically. Other hotel bookings do not qualify for that route.
- Ask your host to register you on Host Family & Friends before you start your own application.
- If you live in another GCC country, or hold a visa or residence permit from one of the listed countries, check whether A2 or A3 suits you better.
